For over 25 years, Clark has been fly fishing and tying flies.  He started in the Sierras of California, his home state, and from there he was fortunate to live in Utah, Montana, and Washington.  This allowed him to fish all throughout the west.  Moving to Georgia in 2019, he was able to expand his fly fishing into the Appalachia mountains and the salt marshes of the east.  It was in Georgia that he was able to learn the art of bamboo fly rod making.  For the last 5 years, Clark has been honing his skills in split cane rod construction, and testing his rods in a variety of salt and fresh water locations.

Clark and his wife currently live in the greater Atlanta area. He enjoys traveling to local and far off destinations to fish. Scotland for Atlantic salmon; Dolly Varden, grayling, and all five species of Pacific Salmon in Alaska; brown trout in Patagonia, all the Western States for trout; Georgia and the Southeast for trout, redfish, tarpon, shoal bass and stripers; and the Bahamas for bonefish.

He is currently a member of the Atlanta Fly Fishing Club and the Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
